Your experience begins with a prompt pick-up from your hotel in Xi'an, followed by a short journey of approximately one and a half hours to reach the renowned Famen Temple. Esteemed as one of China's premier Buddhist sanctuaries, this temple proudly preserves the relics of Shakyamuni.

During our guided visit to the Famen Temple, lasting between two and a half to three hours, we will appreciate the magnificent pagoda and uncover the reasons behind the profound veneration by Buddhism followers, who visit seeking meditation, tranquility, and peace.

After our temple exploration, a delightful meal awaits us at a traditional restaurant nearby, where we will sample authentic Chinese cuisine featuring local specialties. Refreshed and reenergized, we will then proceed to the remarkable Qianling Mausoleum, constructed 1300 years ago at a notable elevation of over 1000 meters (3280 feet).

Upon arrival, we will traverse the "spiritual path" leading to the mausoleum’s entrance, marked by two grand stone lions that stand sentinel. This remarkable site honors the members of the illustrious House of Li, the ruling family of the Tang Dynasty.

To delve deeper into the history of this esteemed lineage, our guided tour will take us through the complex to the tombs of Emperor Gaozong and his spouse, Empress Wu. We will also visit the Mausoleum of Prince Yide, renowned for its stunning murals depicting vibrant scenes from palace life—a truly breathtaking experience!

As our day concludes, we will return to your hotel in Xi'an, completing this enriching journey approximately eight hours after the initial pick-up.
