With this day trip to Aguaytia, you'll visit a Peruvian city and have the chance to observe the boquerón del Padre Abad and the waterfalls Velo de la Novia and Ducha del Diablo.
Aguaytia Day Trip
We'll pick you up between 6 and 6:20 am at your hotel for a three-hour journey to Aguaytia from Pucallpa.
Our first stop will be breakfast at your choice, followed by our trip. During the journey, we will admire the Peruvian plains and charming towns like Campo Verde, Neshuya, Huipoca, and San Alejandro. Additionally, we will visit an artisan chocolate shop.
Upon arrival in Aguaytia, we'll begin a panoramic tour of the capital of the province of Padre Abad, which features the longest bridge in Peru, measuring 2132 feet (650 metres).
We will also sample various craft beers made with coca, pineapple, lemon, camu camu, and cocoa. Shortly after, we'll visit the Padre Abad boquerón, a significant crater about 4 miles (6 kilometres) long, located in the Cordillera Azul.
The boquerón provides access to the jungle, leading us to the Velo de la Novia and Ducha del Diablo waterfalls, where you'll have time to explore and swim.
We will return to Aguaytia for lunch at a local restaurant, after which we'll head back to Pucallpa. You will arrive at your hotel around 7 pm.
