Cashibococha Lagoon Tour

On this excursion to the Cashibococha Lagoon, we will visit two ecovillages in the Peruvian Amazon rainforest and connect with nature.

Tour Details

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Pucallpa and head to the port of Cashibococha. From there, we will board a boat to travel to the community of La Pequeña María.

Upon arrival, you will discover how this community has creatively harnessed natural resources to create an eco-sustainable village. We will take a one-hour walk through plantations of cocona, mandarin, camu-camu, and other fruit trees. Along the way, you will learn about the solar panel system that powers the entire village. For those interested, there is an opportunity to try fishing.

Next, enjoy two hours of free time to swim in the tranquil lagoon. Afterward, you will have 30 minutes to kayak or paddleboard on the lagoon’s serene waters if you wish.

To end the experience, we will admire a sunset over the Cashibococha Lagoon, providing an opportunity for photographs. Finally, we will return to your hotel in Pucallpa, concluding the five-hour adventure.
