Half-Day Trip to Lake Yarinacocha

On this half-day excursion to the Yarinacocha Lagoon, get to know the fauna and flora of Peru and visit a local community for an authentic experience!

Tour Details

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Pucallpa at the time of your choice and set sail for the port of Callao.

Upon arrival, we'll board a traditional wooden boat called a peke peke and start sailing on Lake Yarinacocha, admiring the Amazonian flora. It is said that this reservoir was formed by the tears of a mermaid in love with a human.

This trip includes a visit to San Francisco, home to the indigenous Shipibo-Conibo populations by the lake. After learning about their culture, we'll proceed to Caserío 11 de Agosto to see handmade items and traditional clothing.

We will then walk along the camu camu route and make a brief stop at the boulevard of Yarinacocha before returning to your hotel in Pucallpa, concluding this 4-hour excursion.
