Lake Yarinacocha Excursion

Pick-up is at 9 am from your hotel in Pucallpa to Puerto Callao, the capital of the Yarinacocha district. From there, a boat tour of Lake Yarinacocha begins, where various Amazon species are observed, including local dolphins if available.

After a two-hour ride, the tour includes a visit to a Shipibo-Konibo Indigenous community, known for preserving ancestral customs and traditional handicrafts. Following this, there will be two additional stops: one at the village of Caserío 11 de Agosto, where local women create items from vegetable fibers, and another at San José beach.

The excursion also features a hike through the jungle to explore local plants and animals, concluding with a return to Puerto Callao by 1 pm where a bus will take you back to your hotel in Pucallpa.
