Lake Yarinacocha Excursion
We'll pick you up at 9 am at your hotel in Pucallpa and take you to Puerto Callao, the capital of the Peruvian district of Yarinacocha.
From there, we'll hop on a boat to tour Lake Yarinacocha, which is home to various species of animals and plants. After a two-hour ride, we'll visit a Shipibo-Konibo Indigenous community, preserving their ancestral customs, where we can admire their traditional handicrafts.
Following the community visit, we'll continue sailing across the lake with two stops: one at Caserío 11 de Agosto, where local women craft items from vegetable fibers, and another at the beach of San José.
Finally, we'll take a hike through the jungle to observe the local plants and animals. After the hike, we will return to Puerto Callao for your ride back to your hotel in Pucallpa, arriving at 1 pm.
