Yarinacocha and Pacacocha are significant lagoons in the Amazon region of Ucayali, home to exotic animals like jaguars, sloths, and anacondas, as well as Indigenous Peoples who preserve their ancient traditions.

Our adventure begins at 9 am with a hotel pickup and a drive to Yarinacocha, located just 2 kilometers from Pucallpa. We will stop to see its oldest resident: La Lupuna, a gigantic tree over 200 years old and nearly 70 meters high. Throughout the tour, we will discuss its importance to the town and ecosystem.

We will then take a jungle walk to observe the vegetation, followed by a boat ride to Pacacocha lagoon. While sailing, we will focus on the variety of animals along the banks and stop at a wildlife lodge.

Continuing along the river, we will reach Puerto Callao in Yarinacocha. Here, we will visit the Maratíshobo handicraft center to admire traditional handicrafts from the local Indigenous community. We will return to Pucallpa, arriving around 1 pm.
