Great Slave Lake Ice Fishing Trip
Pickup is at your hotel in Yellowknife at 11 am, followed by a trip to the shores of Great Slave Lake, the second-largest and deepest lake in North America at 2,000 feet. Here, you will have the opportunity to try ice fishing.
After a brief presentation on using the equipment, you can relax in tents while waiting for fish to take the bait. Patience is essential for successful ice fishing.
During the experience, you will learn about various fish species in Great Slave Lake, including salmon, rainbow trout, and pike. At the end of the activity, enjoy a light lunch featuring some of the fish caught, accompanied by hot drinks for warmth.
The return to your hotel in Yellowknife is around 3 pm.
