Pickup is at your hotel in Yellowknife at 11 am, followed by a trip to the shores of Great Slave Lake, the second-largest and deepest lake in North America. Experience ice fishing with a presentation on equipment use before settling into tents to wait for fish. Patience is essential in this activity.

Learn about various fish species found in the lake, including salmon, rainbow trout, and pike. The trip concludes with a light lunch, featuring some of the fish caught, paired with hot drinks. Return to your hotel in Yellowknife is at approximately 3 pm.

Fishing Licence

Before the activity, you must purchase a fishing license for the Northwest Territories, with fees ranging from 10CAD to 30CAD, depending on your nationality and season of visit. Purchase can be done online or on the day of the tour, with payment accepted by credit card only.
