Embark on an exhilarating snowmobile journey through the stunning icy terrains of Canada’s Northwest Territories! This thrilling escapade is an essential highlight of your visit to Yellowknife.

Snowmobile Expedition

Your adventure begins at 11 am when we pick you up from your accommodation in Yellowknife. You’ll climb aboard a minibus and travel into the captivating snow-covered landscapes of the Northwest Territories. Once we venture far into this frosty environment, away from urban life, the snowmobile adventure will commence.

Get ready by donning your gloves, helmets, and warm attire. Following a brief instructional session on proper and safe vehicle operation, you will mount the snowmobiles and launch into the journey. For the next 40 minutes, we’ll navigate through breathtaking icy woodlands. Our journey will also lead us along the frozen banks of the vast Great Slave Lake, recognized as the deepest lake in North America.

This snowmobiling trail provides an excellent opportunity to appreciate various native Canadian wildlife in their natural surroundings. Look out for the elusive snow partridge, fox, rabbit, and even the arctic lynx as they hunt for their meals. With a bit of patience, you might observe them in action!

The excursion wraps up back at the original meeting point, after which you will be returned to your hotel, arriving around 12:30 pm.

Essential Details

It’s important to note that participants must possess a valid driving license to operate the snowmobiles.

Snowmobile Capacity

On the day of your adventure, we will provide one snowmobile for every two individuals. Both participants will have the opportunity to switch roles and operate the snowmobile as many times as desired.
