Learn all about the history of the captivating capital of the Northwest Territories during this panoramic bus tour of Yellowknife.

After picking you up from your hotel in Yellowknife at 10 am, we will begin our panoramic bus tour. The first stop is the Northwest Territories Legislative Assembly from 1870, where we will explore the chamber and understand the workings of the regional parliament.

Next, visit the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Center to learn about the local flora and fauna and the history and culture of the area’s settlers. We will then proceed to the Diamond Center of Yellowknife to discover the processes of mining, cutting, and polishing these precious gems.

We will drive along the Ice Road to the Snow Castle, where you can take a souvenir picture beside this icy monument. Afterward, we will visit the Bush Pilots Monument to learn about its origins and enjoy expansive views of the city.

The final stop is the Gallery of the Midnight Sun arts center, where you will gain further insight into local culture.

We will return to your hotel in Yellowknife at 1 p.m.
