Yellowknife Tour
After picking you up from your hotel in Yellowknife at 10 am, we will set off on our panoramic bus tour of the city. Our first stop is the Northwest Territories Legislative Assembly, which dates back to 1870. Inside the chamber, we will see the seats of the deputies and learn how this regional parliament operates.
Nearby is the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Center, where you will learn about the local flora and fauna as well as the history and culture of the region's settlers. We then continue our tour with a visit to the Diamond Center of Yellowknife, where you will discover how these precious gems are mined, cut, and polished in this region of Canada.
Next, we drive along the Ice Road to the Snow Castle, where you can take a souvenir picture next to this icy monument before it melts. Afterwards, we'll visit the Bush Pilots Monument, where you can learn about the origins of this memorial and enjoy views across the city.
Our last stop is at the Gallery of the Midnight Sun arts center, where you will discover more about the local culture. Finally, at 1 p.m., we'll drop you back off at your hotel in Yellowknife.
