After picking you up from your hotel in Yellowknife at 10 am, we will embark on a panoramic bus tour of the city. Our first stop is the Northwest Territories Legislative Assembly, established in 1870. Inside, we will view the seats of the deputies and learn how the regional parliament operates.
Next, we will visit the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Center, where you will learn about the local flora and fauna as well as the history and culture of the region's settlers. The tour continues at the Diamond Center of Yellowknife, where you will discover the mining, cutting, and polishing processes of these precious gems.
We will then drive along the Ice Road to the Snow Castle for a souvenir picture before it melts. Our next stop is the Bush Pilots Monument, where you can learn about the memorial's origins and enjoy views across the city.
Finally, we will visit the Gallery of the Midnight Sun arts center to explore more aspects of the local culture. We will return you to your hotel in Yellowknife at 1 p.m.
