Embark on a private tour of Yogyakarta, Prambanan, and Borobudur temples with a knowledgeable guide. Experience the beauty of this Indonesian region.
Description
At the designated time, we will pick you up from your Yogyakarta hotel and travel to the Pawon and Mendut temples, which, despite their small size, hold cultural and architectural significance.
Next, we will visit the iconic Borobudur temple, known for its impressive sunrise and sunset views. As the largest Buddhist temple in the world, it features towering spires that provide a stunning backdrop.
Returning to Yogyakarta, we will explore the city center and witness the grandeur of the Sultan's Palace, a historic residence that showcases remnants of ancient walls. Our visit also includes the Water Castle, an abandoned garden with a fascinating history.
After the tour, you will have free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we will proceed to the Prambanan temple, home to the largest Hindu monument in Indonesia. Constructed in the ninth century from volcanic stone, this temple is rich in legends.
The tour concludes with our return to your Yogyakarta hotel, approximately 10.5 hours after the initial pickup.
Partial closures
