Embark on an exclusive private tour of Yogyakarta, Prambanan, and Borobudur temples, accompanied by a knowledgeable guide. This tour highlights the beauty of the Indonesian region.
Description
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your Yogyakarta hotel and start our journey to the Pawon and Mendut temples, which, despite their small size, are culturally and architecturally significant.
Next, we will visit the iconic Borobudur temple, famous for its stunning sunrise and sunset views. As the largest Buddhist temple globally, it features towering spires set amidst serene surroundings.
Upon returning to Yogyakarta, we will explore the city center, visiting the historic Sultan's Palace and the Water Castle, an abandoned garden with a rich history.
Afterwards, you will have free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we will head to the Prambanan temple, housing the largest Hindu monument in Indonesia. Built in the ninth century from volcanic stone, it is steeped in legend and mystery.
The tour will conclude with our return to your Yogyakarta hotel, approximately 10.5 hours after the pickup.
Partial closures
