Merapi Volcano (6 hours)

Leaving Yogyakarta, we will go to the Merapi volcano, known for its 69 eruptions since 1548. As we approach, we will admire the volcanic landscapes and visit a village at the mountain's foot to understand life near an active volcano.

Merapi Volcano + Ulen Sentanu Museum (8 hours)

This option follows the same itinerary as the previous one. After a break for lunch, we will visit the Ulen Sentanu Museum to learn about the legendary kingdom of Mataram.

Merapi Volcano + Sunrise at Borobudur (12 hours)

We will pick you up before sunrise to head to Punthuk Setumbu. A 20-minute uphill hike will bring you to a viewpoint for a panorama of Merapi and Borobudur, where you can enjoy the sunrise. Following this, we will visit the shrine, tour the landscapes of Merapi, and stop at the Prambanan temple, the tallest in Indonesia, before having lunch and returning to Yogyakarta.
