Skagway, Emerald Lake + Carcross Desert Tour

On this tour from Whitehorse, we will leave Yukon behind and travel to Alaska, visiting the city of Skagway.

Description

Pickup will be from your hotel in Whitehorse at the indicated time. We will head south to one of the beautiful areas in the Canadian region of Yukon.

The first stop is Emerald Lake, a glacial lake where we will explore its shores and enjoy a light snack and drink.

Next, we will visit the Carcross Desert, the smallest in the world, to learn about the presence of sand dunes in such a northern area of Canada.

Afterwards, we will arrive in the city of Carcross and continue south towards the border. We will admire the landscape of the White Pass mountain pass as we enter Alaska.

In Skagway, we will explore this picturesque port town known for its wooden houses from the golden rush era and discuss its historical significance for adventurers seeking precious metals.

You will then have an hour for lunch in Skagway before returning to your hotel in Whitehorse, with the total duration of the activity being approximately 9 hours.
