Skagway, Emerald Lake + Carcross Desert Tour

On this tour from Whitehorse, we will travel to Alaska and visit the city of Skagway.

Description

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Whitehorse at the specified time and head south into the Yukon. The first stop will be Emerald Lake, where we will explore the shores and enjoy a light snack and drink.

Next, we will visit the Carcross Desert, known as the smallest desert in the world, and learn about the unique sand dunes in this northern location. Following this, we will pass through the city of Carcross as we head towards the border, admiring the landscape of the White Pass mountain pass before entering Alaska.

In Skagway, famous for its wooden houses from the golden rush era, we will explore the town and discuss its history related to adventurers seeking precious metals. You will have one hour of free time to eat in Skagway before we return to your hotel in Whitehorse, completing approximately 9 hours of activity. See you again soon!
