Skagway, Emerald Lake + Carcross Desert Tour

On this tour from Whitehorse, we'll leave Yukon and travel to Alaska, visiting the city of Skagway.

Description

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Whitehorse at the indicated time and head south to the Yukon region.

The first stop will be Emerald Lake, a glacial lake where we'll explore its shores and enjoy a light snack and drink.

Next, we'll visit the Carcross Desert, known as the smallest in the world, where we'll learn about its unique sand dunes. Afterward, we'll continue to the city of Carcross and proceed south to the border, admiring the White Pass mountain pass as we enter Alaska.

In Skagway, a port town with wooden houses from the golden rush era, we'll discuss its history of adventurers seeking precious metals. You'll have an hour to eat in Skagway before we return to your hotel in Whitehorse, with the tour lasting approximately 9 hours.
