Discover the hidden gems of Dugi Otok, an enchanting island in Croatia. This kayaking tour invites you to immerse yourself in an Adriatic paradise and fall in love with its stunning landscapes.
Tour Options
During the booking process, you can select between two distinct tour options. Both alternatives include minibus transportation, kayak gear, and an English-speaking guide. Below are the specifics of each tour.
Half-Day Kayak Tour
Your journey begins at 10 am with a ferry ride from Gazenica's port to Dugi Otok, taking approximately 1.5 hours. Enjoy picturesque views of the archipelago along the way.
Once on Dugi Otok, we'll gather at the Brbinj port and transfer via minibus to our first destination: the pristine Veli Žal beach. Here, feel free to swim, paddle around the area, or embark on a guided tour of Mezanj Island.
After two hours of exploration, we’ll return to the bus, heading to the highlight of our adventure. With the kayaks, we'll paddle to a spot perfect for cliff diving and indulge in a refreshing swim. Discover a stunning cave that changes colors with the sunlight as well!
Following our island exploration, we’ll make our way back to Gazenica, expected to arrive by 6:50 pm.
Full-Day Kayak Tour
For a more extensive experience, consider opting for the full-day tour. Similar to the previous option, it begins with a ferry ride from Gazenica, arriving at Dugi Otok in 1.5 hours.
Upon arrival, we’ll transfer to the bay and commence our kayaking adventure. Throughout the tour, we will uncover secret caves and leap from cliffs while navigating the picturesque scenery—an exhilarating experience! We’ll then proceed to the northern part of the island, where you can enjoy some free time for lunch.
After replenishing energy, we’ll kayak to a submerged ship for a thrilling snorkeling session. Our exploration will continue until we reach the Sakarun beach, renowned for its soft white sand, where we’ll pause to swim and bask in the sun.
After an exhilarating day of adventure spanning 11.5 hours, we’ll return to the port of Zadar.
