Dugi Otok Kayak Tour

Tour Options

When booking, you'll have two options: both include transportation by minibus, kayak equipment , and an English-speaking guide.

Half-Day Kayak Tour

At 10 am, you'll take a ferry from the port of Gazenica to Dugi Otok, a trip lasting approximately 1.5 hours. Upon arrival at Dugi Otok, meet at the port of Brbinj to take a minibus to the white sandy beach of Veli Žal. Here, you can swim, kayak, and join a guided tour of Mezanj Island.

After 2 hours, return to the bus and paddle to an area for cliff jumping and swimming, including a visit to a color-changing cave based on sunlight. The tour concludes with a return to the port of Gazenica at 6:50 pm.

Full-Day Kayak Tour

This tour begins similarly, taking a ferry from Gazenica to Dugi Otok for 1.5 hours. Transfer to the bay to start kayaking, where you'll explore secret caves and jump from cliffs. You'll then visit the north of the island for lunch.

Post-lunch, kayak to a sunken ship for snorkeling and continue to the white sandy beach of Sakarun for swimming and relaxation. The full experience lasts approximately 11.5 hours.

The half-day tour operates every Friday in April and May, Monday to Saturday in June, Monday to Thursday in July and August, Monday to Friday in September, and the first two Fridays in October.The full-day tour operates from April 15 to May 31 on Sundays only, daily from June 1 to 30 except the first three Saturdays, daily from July 1 to August 31, and daily from September 1 to 30 except Saturdays.

Note that none of the options include ferry tickets, which cost 7EUR each way. Instructions for purchasing will be provided upon reservation.
