At the designated time, we'll meet at Schiena dell’Asino car park to begin the hiking tour around the landscapes of Etna and The Valle del Bove. We will climb to 1,970 metres (6,460 feet) above sea level via the Schiena dell’Asino path, a well-known route in the Etna Natural Park. The path's name and its significance will be revealed during our hike.

Throughout the ascent, we will discuss the volcanic lands in eastern Sicily and explore hidden caves. Upon reaching the crater's highest point, we will take in views of the Valle del Bove, known for its volcanic ash landscape.

After enjoying the views, we will descend, passing a huge black sand canal and Pythagoras Cave, a tunnel formed by a lava river.

The hiking route will conclude back at the starting point after approximately 3-4 hours.
