Camel Ride and Night in the Desert

Description

Day 1

Once we meet in Zagora, we will begin our tour with a camel ride through the desert. This journey offers an opportunity to explore the vast landscapes and learn about the way of life of the nomadic Amazigh people.

The camel ride concludes at the haima camp for an overnight stay. Guests will enjoy mint tea while watching the sunset over the desert. The night will feature a traditional dinner and an opportunity to gaze at the starry sky accompanied by drumming.

Day 2

We will wake up to the sunrise over the desert, admiring the changing hues of the dunes. After a breakfast in the camp, we will ride back to Zagora, arriving between 8 am and 9 am.

Camps

Overnight accommodations will be in a camp. Note that water is not included and costs between 1EUR and 2EUR per 1.5-liter bottle.

When booking, you can choose between 2 types of accommodation:

The standard camp accommodates a maximum of 5 people with common toilets and showers.

The superior camp accommodates a maximum of 4 people with private bathrooms.

In both cases, accommodations are private with one tent per couple.

Important

Children 5-11 years old must ride with an adult on the same camel.
