Travel to the northern tip of Zanzibar and visit the charming village of Nungwi. Traditional markets, paradise beaches, and a turtle sanctuary await you!

North Zanzibar Day Trip

At 9 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Zanzibar and head north to the village of Nungwi. After about an hour and a half drive, we'll arrive at this town rich in history and culture, featuring some of the best beaches in Zanzibar. Upon arrival, we'll visit the fish market, providing an introduction to Nungwi culture.

After exploring the Nungwi fish market, we'll visit the Marani Natural Aquarium, where we'll interact with endangered sea turtles and various fish. Swimming in the aquarium waters will allow us to get close to the turtles.

We'll then relax on the paradise beaches of Nungwi, where you can stroll along the white sand, swim in the clear waters, or sunbathe among palm trees.

Following this, we will have a traditional meal at a local restaurant featuring seafood, rice, and vegetables. After the meal, we'll start our return to your hotel, arriving approximately at 5 pm.
