North Zanzibar Day Trip

Travel to the northern tip of Zanzibar to visit the village of Nungwi, featuring traditional markets, beaches, and a turtle sanctuary.

North Zanzibar Day Trip

At 9 am, we will pick you up at your hotel and head north to the village of Nungwi. The drive takes about an hour and a half through scenic areas, arriving in this town rich in history and culture and home to some of the best beaches in Zanzibar. Our first stop will be the fish market, an introduction to local Nungwi culture.

Next, we will visit the Marani Natural Aquarium, where we will interact with endangered sea turtles and fish. Swimming in the aquarium waters allows for an up-close experience with the turtles.

We will relax on the paradise beaches of Nungwi, offering opportunities to stroll, swim, or sunbathe.

Afterward, we will enjoy a traditional meal at a local restaurant, featuring seafood, rice, and vegetables. Following this, we will return to your hotel, with an estimated arrival time of 5 pm.
