At the specified time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Zanzibar. The tour will begin with a walking tour of Stone Town, where you'll explore historic Prison Island and an organic spice town.

First, we will visit Stone Town, the capital and oldest part of Zanzibar, known for its rich cultural heritage that blends Arabian, Indian, Persian, and European influences. You will see old slave markets and vibrant daily markets, including the former palaces like the Sultan's Palace, and learn about the history of slave trading.

After the walking tour, we will travel to a spice plantation for a guided walking tour of a spice farm. Zanzibar, known as the "Spice Island," leads globally in spice production. You will experience the cultivation of spices, herbs, and tropical fruits, while the guide explains their uses.

We will enjoy a traditional Swahili lunch at the farm to appreciate the culinary applications of spices.

Next, we will take a boat ride to Prison Island, learning about its historical use as a slave prison in the 1860s. The island is home to the Aldabra Giant Tortoise Sanctuary, featuring large tortoises including one that is 200 years old.

Finally, we will return by boat to Stone Town, concluding the tour at your hotel.
