We will pick you up from your hotel in Zanzibar at the selected time and walk to the city center to see significant monuments.

The first stop will be at the Old Fort, built by the Omanis in 1689 as a defense against the Portuguese. Next to this fortress is the House of Wonders, known for its stunning wooden doors and inscriptions from the Quran; it was the first building on the island to have electricity.

Then we'll visit the old Sultan's Palace, now a museum dedicated to the royal family of Zanzibar. We'll also explore the Hamamni Persian Baths, which reflect the empire's influence in Stone Town.

The tour continues with a visit to the Darajani market, essential for understanding the city's history. We will also see the house where Freddy Mercury was born.

Finally, we will stop outside the Christ Church, one of the most impressive monuments from the 1860s, learning about the region's slave history. The guided tour will conclude after three hours, followed by your return to the hotel.
