Visit Stone Town, Prison Island, and the spice farms of Zanzibar on this day trip. You'll see three of the island's most important cultural and historical sites!

Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Forodhani Garden Restaurant. The tour begins with a visit to the spice farms of Zanzibar, where we'll experience tasting and smelling native spices.

We will walk through small villages and plantations to learn about local work. You will see various crafts made of palm leaves. Next, we'll visit Stone Town, a Unesco World Heritage Site.

We will explore the city’s streets and visit the old slave market, now a church. The itinerary includes the Cultural Arts Center, Peace Memorial Museum, and House of Wonders.

After passing the Old Fort of Zanzibar, we'll visit the house where Freddie Mercury was born, known as the oldest fort on the island. We will also visit the old Ithnashiri Dispensary, now a cultural center.

Next, we will head to the port to set sail toward Prison Island. Upon arrival, we will see the giant tortoises, some over 100 years old. You will have time to relax on the coral reef beaches and swim in the crystal waters.

Finally, we will return to the starting point after a 10 to 11-hour day trip.
