While sailing, we will enjoy the scenery of the third-largest island of the Zanzibar archipelago. Upon arrival, we will learn about the way of life of the people of Tumbatu, who rely on solar panels for their energy needs, and discover some of their ancestral customs.
Next, we will explore the ruins of the island, including the Shirazi constructions and the large baobabs, which are over 900 years old.
Following our exploration, we will visit a local restaurant for a traditional meal that includes seafood, vegetables, and rice. After lunch, we will return to the beach for an hour of snorkeling among the corals and colorful fish in the blue waters.
Finally, we will return to your hotel in Zanzibar, arriving approximately 8 hours after departure.
