Snorkeling at Las Gatas Beach

Explore the Mexican Pacific coast by snorkeling at Las Gatas Beach, a chance to discover the marine flora and fauna of Zihuatanejo Bay.

Description

At the designated time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Ixtapa Zihuatanejo and take you to the port. Once there, snorkeling equipment will be provided before boarding the boat for the tour.

We will sail south through the bay of Zihuatanejo for 20 minutes, enjoying views of the Sierra Madre del Sur. Upon arrival at Las Gatas Beach, a half-kilometer beach, we will dive in to explore the seabed.

During the snorkeling activity, you will see starfish, sea urchins, hermit crabs, and tropical fish. A secret location featuring a submerged sculpture of Christ the King will also be included.

After an hour of snorkeling, you will have another hour of free time to use the snorkel gear or relax on the beach before we begin our return trip.

We will then sail back to Ixtapa Zihuatanejo and drop you off at your hotel 4 hours after the initial pickup.
