Snorkeling at Las Gatas Beach

Explore the Mexican Pacific coast by snorkeling at Las Gatas Beach and discover the marine flora and fauna of Zihuatanejo Bay.

Description

At the indicated time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Ixtapa Zihuatanejo and take you to the port. There, you will receive the snorkeling equipment before boarding a boat for the tour.

We will sail south through the bay of Zihuatanejo for 20 minutes, enjoying views of the Sierra Madre del Sur. Upon arrival at Las Gatas Beach, you can dive in and explore the seabed.

While snorkeling, you will see starfish, sea urchins, hermit crabs, and various tropical fish. A special highlight will be a visit to a secret spot featuring a submerged sculpture of Christ the King.

After an hour of snorkeling, you will have another hour of free time to continue snorkeling or relax in the sun before the return trip.

Lastly, we will sail back to Ixtapa Zihuatanejo and drop you off at your hotel 4 hours after the initial pickup.
