Las Nubes Waterfalls Tour

At 4 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in San Cristobal de las Casas and set off on a four and a half hour drive to the Las Nubes Waterfalls. Once there, you'll have 40 minutes of free time to get some breakfast.

The Las Nubes Waterfalls are located in the Montes Azules Biosphere Reserve and are surrounded by Madrean pine-oak woodlands. Walking through the park, we will admire several waterfalls including Las Caiditas, El Respiradero, and Las Golondrinas.

Next, we'll go deep into the Lacandon jungle and climb a suspension bridge hanging 150 metres above sea level, which offers a view of the turquoise-blue waterfalls. The falls create mist upon hitting the rocks, giving the area its name, Las Nubes, or "The Clouds".

Afterwards, we'll take you to a designated bathing area to enjoy a dip in the Santo Domingo River. You will then have 40 minutes of free time for lunch before we return to San Cristóbal, where we will arrive at 9 pm.
