After being collected from your hotel in San Cristóbal de las Casas at 8 am, your journey will begin towards the Lagunas de Montebello National Park. Following a scenic drive of approximately two and a half hours, you'll arrive at one of the region's most remarkable natural wonders: the El Chiflón Waterfalls, located near the Sumidero Canyon.

Your visit will focus on the highlight of the El Chiflón Ecotourism Center, the El Chiflón Waterfall. Here, you will ascend an impressive 800 steps to the waterfall's summit for stunning panoramic views.

A jungle trek of around one mile will lead you to various magnificent waterfalls such as El Suspiro, which stands at 80 feet (25 meters), Ala de Angel, surpassing 98 feet (30 meters), and Velo de Novia, boasting a remarkable drop of over 400 feet (120 meters). The dazzling turquoise waters will leave you in awe!

Your adventure continues with a leisurely walk around the Montebello Lagoons for about an hour and a half. In this stunning area, you will encounter multiple lagoons presenting a vibrant palette of colors, ranging from turquoise to black, shaped by the surrounding rich flora.

After a day filled with exploration and beauty in Mexico's natural heart, you'll make your way back to downtown San Cristóbal de las Casas, arriving by 8 pm.
