Rancho Nuevo & El Arcotete Tour

At your chosen time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in San Cristóbal de las Casas and set off on our tour of two natural spots: the Rancho Nuevo Ecopark and El Arcotete.

In just 20 minutes we'll arrive at the Rancho Nuevo Ecotourism Park, where you will experience views of conifer-lined trails. During our tour, we'll visit caves discovered in 1547, featuring a gallery over 10 kilometers underground, with stalactites and stalagmites. We'll walk along a 750-meter walkway while learning about the origins of this rock formation.

After exploring the caves, you'll have 40 minutes of free time to explore more of the area. Afterwards, we'll proceed to the El Arcotete Ecotourism Park, characterized by pines, cypresses, and oaks.

Here, we'll discover the 50-meter-high limestone arch over the Fogótico River. Notably, you can observe the caves above the arch and their shapes.

At the end of the four-hour tour, we will return you to your hotel in San Cristóbal de las Casas.
