The tour begins with hotel pick-up in San Cristobal de las Casas, followed by a westward journey to Sumidero Canyon, known for its dramatic scenery. Upon arrival, a boat ride lasting approximately two hours will take place through the canyon, featuring walls that rise up to 4,000 meters (13,123 feet). Visitors can observe a variety of wildlife, including pelicans, spider monkeys, and crocodiles, set against one of the largest rivers in Mexico.

After the boat ride, the tour continues to Chiapa de Corzo, a colonial town rich in tradition and culture. Participants will have free time to explore its streets, squares, chapels, and the ruins of colonial temples. A highlight is the central fountain Pila, which showcases Mudejar style and represents Spanish-American colonial art.

The excursion concludes with a return to San Cristobal de las Casas around 3 pm.
