The Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá is a significant religious building constructed inside a salt mine. With your ticket, you will use an audio guide to learn about its features. During your self-guided tour, you will explore iconic spots such as the Choir, the Stations of the Cross, and the Water Mirrors. Additionally, you will view a 3D short film and a light show regarding the mythology of the Muiscas Indigenous people.

You will also travel the Miner's Route. This experience lasts between 30 minutes and 1 hour, led by an expert guide who will provide further insights about the Salt Cathedral. This guided part of the tour includes remarkable geological formations, such as the Salt Waterfall and the Archangel Gabriel.

Guided visit + Museums

During booking, you can select the option that includes an English-speaking guide for a visit to the Salt Museum of Zipaquirá. This will enable you to learn from an expert and visit the Salt, Tutankhamun, and Archaeological Museums. This option lasts approximately 5 hours.
