Join us for an enriching day exploring the capital of Switzerland, known for its stunning historic center recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Along the way, we will also delve into the fascinating world of Emmental cheese, renowned for its delightful flavor.

Itinerary

Our journey begins at 8:30 am from the Sihlquai bus station parking lot in Zürich. We will embark towards the picturesque Entlebuch Valley, an area designated as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Upon arrival, you will receive a bag to collect authentic Swiss treats throughout the day.

Continuing our adventure, we will cross through the scenic Emmental Valley and make our way to the Kambly Experience. At this traditional Swiss biscuit factory, you will discover the art of biscuit-making while enjoying a tasting of these delightful confections. Following our sweet indulgence, we’ll proceed to the charming city of Bern.

Once in Bern, a walking tour will guide us through its historic center, where we will admire notable landmarks such as the Berner Münster Cathedral, the Swiss Parliament, and the iconic Zytglogge, famous for its grand astronomical clock.

You will then have approximately one hour of leisure time to savor lunch and explore the local shops. In the afternoon, we will visit a typical Bernese farmhouse and encounter some local Swiss cows during our trip to an Emmental cheese dairy. An interactive tour, 'King's Way', will further enrich your experience before we pause for photo opportunities featuring the breathtaking Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau alpine peaks.

As our fulfilling day concludes, we will make our way back to Zürich, arriving at our original departure point by 7 pm.
