On this trip to Lucerne from Zurich, you'll explore the historic centre of this scenic Swiss city and partake in a yacht tour around Lake Lucerne.

Day Trip Details

Meet at the Sihlquai Bus Station parking lot at the scheduled time. A journey through the Swiss countryside will precede our visit to Lucerne. You'll be informed about the time and location for our rendezvous later, and receive your boat ticket. You'll have 6 hours of free time to explore Lucerne.

Recommended activities include a stroll around the historic centre, visiting the banks of the Reuss River, and crossing the iconic Kapellbrücke, Europe's oldest wooden bridge. Also near this area is the Church of the Jesuits.

During your free time, consider trying the renowned Swiss cuisine. At the time noted on your ticket, you will embark on a one-hour yacht ride around Lake Lucerne, equipped with an audio guide in English, where you'll view the lakeshore and surrounding landscapes.

After the yacht ride, you'll have additional free time to explore more of Lucerne, including the renowned Lion Monument, created by Danish artist Bertel Thorvaldsen in the early 19th century.

We will convene in the centre of Lucerne for our return journey to Zurich, concluding this trip after 9.5 hours.
