Grindelwald & Interlaken Day Trip from Zurich

Join us on a day trip from Zurich to discover the Alpine landscapes of Switzerland, visiting Interlaken, the village of Grindelwald, and Lauterbrunnen in the Swiss Alps.

Day Trip Details

We will depart from the Sihlquai coach park in Zurich, heading towards the Bernese Alps, enjoying picturesque landscapes with meadows, lakes, and peaks along the way. Our first stop is Interlaken, where we will spend about 45 minutes exploring its charming streets and enjoying views of the Swiss Alps.

Next, we will proceed to Grindelwald, known as “Glacier Village.” You will have approximately 3.5 hours of free time here to visit attractions, including the option to take a cable car that ascends to 2100 m (6,889 ft) to the viewpoint of Mount First. You can also explore Swiss handicraft shops and sample local cuisine.

Following Grindelwald, we will travel to Lauterbrunnen, renowned for its waterfalls. A brief introduction will precede your time to explore the town, where you should see the Staubbach waterfall, which cascades from 300 meters (984 ft).

We will reconvene in Lauterbrunnen for our return to Zurich, concluding the trip after a total of 12 hours.

Itinerary Changes

The tour may follow the reverse order without prior notice, visiting Lauterbrunnen first, followed by Grindelwald and Interlaken later in the day.
