Grindelwald & Interlaken Day Trip from Zurich

Join us on a day trip from Zurich to explore the stunning Alpine landscapes of Switzerland, including Interlaken, Grindelwald, and Lauterbrunnen.

Day Trip Details

We will depart from the Sihlquai coach park in Zurich to the Bernese Alps, passing through picturesque landscapes of meadows, lakes, and snow-capped peaks. After a stop in Lucerne, we will reach Interlaken for approximately 45 minutes to stroll its charming streets and enjoy views of the Swiss Alps.

Next, we head to Grindelwald, known as the “Glacier Village.” You will have about 3.5 hours of free time to explore, with optional activities including taking a cable car to 2100 m (6,889 ft) to reach the viewpoint of Mount First. You can also shop for Swiss handicrafts or sample local cuisine.

We will then visit Lauterbrunnen, famous for its waterfalls, including the Staubbach waterfall, which drops 300 meters (984 ft). After some free time to explore, we will reconvene in the center of Lauterbrunnen for our return to Zurich, concluding the trip after approximately 12 hours.

Itinerary Changes

The tour may operate in the reverse order, visiting Lauterbrunnen first, followed by Grindelwald (including Mount First) and Interlaken in the afternoon.
