Grindelwald & Interlaken Day Trip Itinerary

Your tour begins at Silhquai Bus Terminal in Zurich. You will travel through the Bernese Oberland and stop briefly in Lucerne before reaching Interlaken, located between lakes Thun and Brienz. A bus tour will introduce you to the main sights, followed by travel to Grindelwald, known as Glacier Village.

Upon arrival in Grindelwald, you will receive train tickets for your return to Interlaken, along with station information and timetables. You will have three hours of free time to explore Grindelwald, with recommendations to visit Mount First for views from over 7,100 feet, shop at local handicraft stores, and enjoy a local delicacy lunch.

Make your way to Grindelwald train station to catch the train back to Interlaken, a journey of 36 minutes, passing through scenic landscapes and villages.

In Interlaken, you will have another two hours of free time for shopping or activities such as a boat cruise on Lake Brienz or a cable car trip to Harder Kulm for views of the lakes and mountains.

This tour is partially guided. The guide will accompany you from Zurich to Grindelwald, and from Interlaken back to Zurich. During free time and while on the train from Grindelwald to Interlaken, you will not have a guide, but you will receive tickets and a booklet for independence.
