Grindelwald & Mount First Day Trip

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Sihlquai bus station parking lot. From this point in Zurich, we'll drive to the Canton of Bern.

We'll first stop in Interlaken for a short photo stop, then continue our bus journey to Grindelwald, situated in the Bernese Alps.

Upon arrival, we'll provide your train tickets for a return to Interlaken in the afternoon and tickets for the cable car to Mount First. After reaching the summit (2100 metres high), you'll have 3 hours of free time to explore.

Your cable car ticket includes access to the First View observation deck and the Cliff Walk by Tissot suspension bridge, offering stunning views of the Alpine peaks.

At Mount First, you can enjoy a drink and optional activities. Remember to return via cable car to Grindelwald in time to catch your train from Grindelwald to Interlaken, where the bus will take you back to the meeting point in Zurich, concluding this 12-hour tour.

First Flyer Zipline

This 800-metre high zip line operates until the 27th of October, 2025, with a maximum speed of 84 kilometres per hour.

First Glider Zipline

This zipline, shaped like an eagle, operates with a capacity for 4 people and is available until the 27th of October, 2025.

First Mountain Cart

A pedal-powered vehicle covering 3 kilometres from Mount First to Bort station, available from the 1st of May, 2025, until the 27th of October, 2025.

Trottibike Scooter

A vehicle to travel from Mount First to Grindelwald station, available from the 1st of May, 2025, until the 27th of October, 2025.

Guide

This tour is partially guided. The guide will accompany you on the bus from Zurich to Grindelwald and during the road journey back. There is no guide during your free time in Grindelwald and Mount First or during the train journey from Grindelwald to Interlaken, but necessary information will be provided.
