Jungfraujoch Day Trip
Your day trip to the "Top of Europe" starts from the Sihlquai bus terminal parking lot in Zurich. You will drive through the Bernese Oberland, stopping in the town of Interlaken, located between Lakes Thun and Brienz. After visiting Interlaken, proceed to the nearby village of Grindelwald.
In Grindelwald, take the Eiger Express to the Eiger Glacier, where you will board the rack railway to reach Europe's highest train station.
At over 3,466 meters above sea level (11,371 ft), you'll be at Jungfraujoch. The area offers views over the peaks: Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. Enjoy approximately 2.5 hours of free time for activities and lunch at a restaurant before meeting your guide for the rack railway back down to Lauterbrunnen, returning to Zurich by bus, arriving around 8 pm.
