Discover the fascinating alpine landscapes of central Switzerland with this trip to Lucerne and Engelberg from Zurich, one of the most beautiful parts of Switzerland!

Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet up at the Sihlquai bus station parking lot in Zurich. We will drive through the beautiful alpine landscapes of central Switzerland. A scenic route will include anecdotes and facts from the bus guide. After a brief stop for photos, we will arrive in Lucerne, where you will have approximately one hour of free time, depending on traffic conditions.

You may explore the historic center of Lucerne, including the Jesuit church and the Chapel Bridge, Europe’s oldest wooden footbridge. The town hall is also a must-see nearby.

Next, we will travel to Engelberg, located at the foot of Mount Titlis, where you will have three hours of free time for lunch and sightseeing. Notable sites include the large Benedictine monastery, home to Switzerland's largest organ and cheese-making machinery.

We will return to Zurich, with an arrival time of 7 pm. The bus guide will share more insights about central Switzerland on the way back.

Important Info

A professional multilingual guide will accompany you on the routes between Zurich and Engelberg. Detailed written information will be provided for your visit to Engelberg. Please note that some shops in Engelberg and Lucerne are closed on Sundays.
