Spend a day enjoying the rich cultural and natural heritage of Lucerne, one of Switzerland's most beautiful cities, on this day trip from Zurich.

Day Trip Details

Having met your guide at the Sihlquai bus terminal parking lot in Zurich, we'll set off towards Lucerne. Throughout the drive, you'll enjoy views of Switzerland's landscapes.

Upon arrival, we'll take a scenic bus tour, introducing you to the history of Lucerne's old town. Your multilingual guide will point out key attractions like City Hall, the Jesuit Church of Lucerne, the Culture and Congress Centre, and the Chapel Bridge, the oldest wooden bridge in Europe, featuring 17th-century paintings.

You will have approximately six hours of free time to explore Lucerne at your own pace, with options to visit monuments like the Altes Rathaus, the Renaissance style old town hall, or the Hofkirche (Church of St. Leodegar).

We will then meet for the return journey to Zurich by bus, arriving back at the meeting point approximately 9.5 hours later.
