Trip Overview

If you are eager to explore one of the most captivating cities in Switzerland's interior, join us at the Sihlquai Bus Station parking lot at the designated time. Our journey to Lucerne will commence from there, and prepare to be captivated by the sights!

As we travel, we’ll appreciate the scenic Swiss countryside while learning about the region’s fascinating history. Upon arrival, you will receive details regarding the time and location for our later meetup, as well as your boat ticket. Following this, you’ll have 6 hours of leisure to discover Lucerne at your own pace.

We suggest wandering through the historical heart of the city. Be sure to visit the banks of the Reuss River, and don’t miss crossing the iconic Kapellbrücke, celebrated as the oldest wooden bridge in Europe. Nearby, you can admire another landmark, the Church of the Jesuits.

This is also a perfect time to sample the delightful Swiss cuisine. At the scheduled time indicated on your ticket, embark on your yacht excursion around Lake Lucerne. This one-hour tour includes an English audio guide that will showcase the stunning lakeshore and natural vistas surrounding the city.

Once the yacht cruise concludes, enjoy additional free time to explore more of Lucerne independently. A must-see is the Lion Monument, an impressive sculpture hewn from rock by the Danish artist Bertel Thorvaldsen in the early 19th century.

Eventually, we will reconvene in central Lucerne to commence our return journey to Zurich, concluding this delightful excursion after approximately 10 hours.
