Day Trip Details

We will meet at the Sihlquai bus station parking lot. From this central location in Zurich, we will drive through central Switzerland's alpine landscapes.

During the journey, the bus guide will share anecdotes and facts about the area. Once we arrive in Lucerne, you will have approximately 1 hour of free time, depending on traffic. It is recommended to explore the historic center of Lucerne, including the Jesuit church and the Chapel Bridge, which has crossed the River Reuss since the 14th century. The town hall on the opposite bank is also noteworthy.

We will continue to Engelberg, where you will have three hours of free time for lunch and to visit key attractions. Notable sites include the large Benedictine monastery, which features Switzerland's largest organ and cheese-making machinery.

Finally, we will return to Zurich, arriving at 7 pm. On the return trip, more insights on central Switzerland will be provided by the guide.
