Day Trip Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet up at the Sihlquai bus station parking lot in Zurich for a drive through central Switzerland's alpine landscapes.
The route includes scenic views, with the bus guide sharing anecdotes about the area. Upon arrival in Lucerne, you will have approximately 1 hour of free time, depending on traffic conditions.
In Lucerne, it is recommended to explore the historic center, including the Jesuit church and the Chapel Bridge, Europe’s oldest wooden footbridge, as well as the town hall across the River Reuss.
The tour continues to Engelberg, located at the foot of Mount Titlis, where you will have three hours for lunch and sightseeing. Visit the notable Benedictine monastery, home to Switzerland's largest organ and cheese-making facilities.
We will return to Zurich by 7 pm, with the guide providing additional insights into central Switzerland on the way back.
