Rhine Falls Half-Day Trip

At the scheduled time, you'll leave Zurich for the northern Swiss landscapes. After a 40-minute drive through vineyards, your first stop will be Laufen Castle, a Medieval fortress with views of Rhine Falls. At 150 meters (490 ft) wide and 23 meters (75 ft) high, the Rheinfall is Europe's biggest waterfall and a major tourist attraction.

You will have around an hour of free time to explore the Rhine Falls and participate in activities. Information about their formation will be provided as you approach the falls.

Following your time at Rhine Falls, the return journey will pass through the town of Schaffhausen, where you can view the 16th-century Munot Fortress. You will briefly drive through Germany before arriving back in Zurich.

Waterfalls Cruise

In summer, an optional boat trip through the Rhine Falls is available. Ticket prices are CHF10 for adults, CHF5 for children aged 6 to 15, and free for children under 6.
