Rhine Falls Half-Day Trip

You will depart from Zurich at the scheduled time and travel through northern Switzerland's landscapes. The first stop is at Laufen Castle, a Medieval fortress providing views of the Rhine Falls, which measures 150 metres (490 ft) wide and 23 metres (75 ft) high, making it Europe's largest waterfall and a major tourist attraction.

Participants will have around an hour of free time to explore the Rhine Falls and engage in available activities while learning about their formation. Following this visit, the return trip to Zurich will pass through the town of Schaffhausen, where the 16th century Munot Fortress can be admired, before driving briefly through Germany and returning to Zurich.

Waterfalls Cruise

During the summer, an optional boat trip through the Rhine Falls is available. The ticket price is CHF10 for adults, CHF5 for children aged 6 to 15, and free for children under 6. Note that the boat entrance is not accessible for baby prams or individuals with reduced mobility.
