What is the Swiss Travel Pass?

The Swiss Travel Pass is an electronic pass that allows unlimited travel on trains, buses and boats in Switzerland over your chosen period.

The pass is not valid for residents of Switzerland and Liechtenstein and does not allow crossing the border between Switzerland and another country.

Swiss Scenic Trains

Travel on scenic trains is included. You only need to pay for your seat reservation, which should be made at least 3 months before your journey.

Swiss Travel Pass Validity

The Swiss Travel Pass is valid from the start date at midnight. The pass is also valid after the last day until the next morning if you travel overnight. It is valid for 3, 4, 6, 8 or 15 consecutive days.

Swiss Travel Pass Flex

If you choose this option, your pass will be valid for 3, 4, 6, 8 or 15 non-consecutive days within a month.

How Does it Work?

After booking, you'll receive a confirmation email with a QR code, which you can print or carry on your mobile. No need to queue at ticket offices; simply show the QR code when required. For discounted tickets at cable cars, you must show your QR code at the ticket office.
