Tour Zurich's city center by bus and foot and follow it up with a boat ride on Lake Zurichsee, concluding with a visit to the Lindt Museum.
What to Expect
We'll meet in front of the Sihlquai Bus Station parking lot at the designated time for our tour of Zurich.
The tour begins with a panoramic route through the city center. From the bus, we will view historic monuments and notable buildings such as the National Museum and Bahnhofstrasse, along with the financial district and the Opera Theater, before stopping at Enge Port for photographs of Lake Zurichsee.
Next, we'll explore Zurich's historic center. During our stroll, we’ll observe several key landmarks, including the City Hall, Grossmünster, Fraumünster, and Peterskirche, which features Europe's largest clock face.
Our walking tour concludes at the Limmat River, where we will board a boat for a 30-minute ride on Lake Zurichsee. After the ride, we will disembark and proceed to the Lindt Home of Chocolate Museum, located a short 15-minute walk from the port.
At the museum, we will be greeted by the world's tallest chocolate fountain. Guests are free to explore the exhibits at their leisure with audioguide commentary on the history of cacao. The visit includes a chocolate tasting, followed by time at the world's largest Lindt shop for souvenirs.
After 5 hours and 15 minutes of touring, the activity concludes in front of Zurich station, where 24-hour train tickets for Zurich's subways will be provided, enabling easy return to the city center.
