Tour Zurich's city center by bus and foot followed by a boat ride on Lake Zurichsee and a visit to the Lindt Museum.
What to Expect
Meet at the Sihlquai Bus Station parking lot at the scheduled time for the tour of Zurich. The tour begins with a bus ride through the city center, showcasing historic monuments and significant buildings, including the National Museum and Bahnhofstrasse. The bus will also pass by the financial district and the Opera Theater, stopping at Enge Port for photos of Lake Zurichsee.
Next, a walking tour of Zurich's historic center will take place. Key sites include the City Hall, Grossmünster, Fraumünster, and Peterskirche, which boasts Europe's largest clock face.
The walking tour concludes at the Limmat River, where we will board a boat for a 30-minute ride on Lake Zurichsee. After disembarking, a short 15-minute walk leads to the Lindt Home of Chocolate Museum.
At the museum, visitors are greeted by the world's tallest chocolate fountain. Explore the exhibits at your leisure with an audioguide detailing the history of cacao. The visit includes a chocolate tasting before heading to the world's largest Lindt shop for souvenirs.
After 5 hours and 15 minutes of touring, the activity concludes at Zurich station, where participants receive 24-hour train tickets for Zurich's subways. This ticket facilitates easy access back to the city center.
