At the indicated time, we'll meet in front of the entrance to Bath Abbey, where we will observe its structure and stained glass windows. Its façade and location along the River Avon make this Gothic temple an iconic landmark.
Next, we will visit the Bath Assembly Rooms, built in the Georgian style, frequented by figures like Jane Austen and Charles Dickens. We will proceed to the Roman Baths, learning about the historic complex founded during the time of Emperor Vespasian in 70 AD.
We will explore the oldest part of the city, understanding its UNESCO designation. We will pass by the Theatre Royal and Queen's Square, a major architectural element in Bath.
The tour concludes at the Royal Crescent, a notable residential complex with thirty terraced houses in a crescent formation, exemplifying Georgian architecture. We will cross the Georgian-style Pulney Bridge and walk along the riverbank of the River Avon.
