Bath Guided Tour
At the indicated time we'll meet in front of the entrance to Bath Abbey, where we can contemplate its structure and stained glass windows. Its façade and location on the banks of the River Avon make this Gothic temple a key landmark.
We will visit the Bath Assembly Rooms, built in the Georgian style, once frequented by figures such as Jane Austen and Charles Dickens. We then continue to the Roman Baths, learning about this historic complex founded in 70 AD.
The tour will progress through the oldest part of the city, highlighting why it has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We'll pass by the Theatre Royal and visit Queen's Square, representing significant architectural elements of Bath.
In the last part of the tour we'll approach the Royal Crescent, a residential complex of thirty terraced houses, noted as the most significant Georgian architecture in the UK. After admiring the Crescent, we will cross the Pulney Bridge and walk along the River Avon bank.
We'll conclude our tour after two hours exploring the history and culture of Bath.
