Explore the underwater biodiversity of Bonito by snorkelling in the Formoso River. We'll provide wetsuits, goggles, and snorkels to discover the river waters in the Mato Grosso do Sul region.

Snorkelling in the Formoso River

At the agreed time, we will meet at the ecotourism complex Praia da Figueira. After introductions, we will don our wetsuits and proceed to the Formoso riverbed, a main river current in Bonito.

Using our goggles and snorkels, guided at all times by a professional, we will embark on an aquatic route to explore the biodiversity of the river. Different dives will reveal the underwater life.

The crystal clear waters of the Formoso river will enable us to see various fish species, including common catfish, tarpon, piavuçu, tetras, and gilthead bream. Stay alert!

After an hour and a half, we will conclude the activity at the starting point. You may choose to leave or continue enjoying the river beach of Praia da Figueira, which offers slides, kayaks, hammocks, and a zip line.
