Did you know that Bonito is considered the capital of ecotourism in Brazil? Enjoy its natural charms and explore the beauty of its river waters by snorkelling in the Sucuri River.

Snorkelling in the Sucuri River

At the agreed time, we'll meet at Fazenda São Geraldo, a ranch located near the Sucuri River. From here, we'll walk along a path to the source of this river.

We'll cross a leafy riverside forest until we reach the Sucuri River, known for its crystalline waters. We will put on our wetsuits, goggles, and snorkel and dive into the water!

We'll swim along the Sucuri River, covering a total of 1.8 kilometres (1.1 miles). While diving, we'll see various fish, particularly brycon and curimbas. We will help identify the species and explain why this river is one of the best places in Brazil for snorkelling.

After two hours snorkelling in the Sucuri River, we'll conclude the activity and return to the starting point.
