The Venice of the North
The tour begins at the market square, or Grote Markt, at the scheduled time. Here, we will see the Belfry of Bruges, an iconic monument, and the Palace of Gruuthuse, also known as the Provincial Palace.
After learning about the sites, we will stroll across Augustine's Bridge and hear the history of the Ghost House. Then, we will arrive at Jan Van Eyck Square and visit the Jerusalem Church.
The tour includes the God House, a medieval community of terraced houses, and will end with a glimpse of the famous mills characteristic of the region. This walking tour will reveal the relaxed side of Bruges, blending its historical and modern aspects. After 2 hours, we will conclude the tour.
How to get to Bruges from Brussels
If travelling from Brussels, take the train from Brussels Central Station, which takes one hour.
