Cadenet Olive Picking
- 3 heures
Looking for countryside experiences in the southern region of France? Join us for the olive harvest in Cadenet, where we'll discover the techniques of olive picking and indulge in a tasting of local Provencal products.
Cadenet Olive Picking
We'll meet up at the designated time at the olive grove of Chemin Les Pastras situated in the village of Cadenet in Provence.
Here, in the south of France, we'll hand-pick olives following traditional methods. While enjoying the process, we'll learn about the secrets of olive harvesting and the techniques that have been passed down through generations.
We'll also discuss the properties of olive oil and its significance in the Mediterranean diet. After three hours of this rural experience, we'll conclude the day with a tasting of typical Provencal products, including pâté, ham, chorizo, and other sausages.
You'll also get to sample various local cheeses, oils, salts, and honey infused with truffle. The organic extra virgin olive oil made from the grove's olives will be available for tasting. A selection of red and rosé wines will be served as beverages.
