Tortuguero National Park Multi-Day Tour

On this 2 or 3-day tour of Tortuguero National Park, you'll experience sleeping in the Costa Rican jungle and explore its diverse ecosystem.

Description

Day 1

We will meet at La Pavona Pier and board a boat across the Suerte River to the Tortuguero River. We will navigate the waters of the national park and arrive at the lodge around noon for check-in. After settling in, we'll reconvene at the hotel restaurant for lunch before visiting the town of Tortuguero to explore its local traditions. We will return to the lodge to rest.

Day 2

In the morning, we'll visit Tortuguero National Park for an excursion to explore its natural attractions, including turtle nesting beaches. After returning for breakfast, we will depart from the lodge and take the boat back to the starting point, concluding the tour around midday.

3-Day Tour

For those interested in an extended stay, the 3-day tour includes an extra night in Tortuguero. On Day 2, we'll visit Tortuguero National Park after breakfast, followed by lunch at the lodge and a hike around the lodge in the afternoon, exploring trails, gardens, and beaches. We will return to the starting point after breakfast on the third day.

Accommodation

This tour includes 1 or 2 nights accommodation with full board at Laguna Lodge.

Meeting Point

The tour starts at La Pavona pier, but the meeting point may change to Caño Blanco pier depending on the water level of the river.
