The Chilean skies are among the clearest in the world. Experience the night sky with this stargazing tour in the Elqui Valley.

Elqui Valley Stargazing

Pick up will be at your hotel in La Serena, followed by a drive to the valley of the Elqui River towards Vicuña.

Near this town, the Amatista, Pangue, Mamalluca, Collowara , and Omega observatories are located. We'll visit one or more of these, depending on availability.

Upon arrival at the astronomical observation center, we'll have a short talk on astronomy. The Elqui Valley is known for its clear skies. After the talk, a stargazing activity will follow. Utilizing powerful electronic telescopes, we'll observe planets, galaxies, and constellations.

The experience includes a stargazing session on yoga mats with soft blankets. A laser pointer will help us explore constellations and stars while you listen to a story about the cosmos. Additionally, there will be a sound therapy session with Tibetan bowls, quartz, and gongs to enhance your connection with the night sky.

Return to La Serena is scheduled for 6 hours after pickup.
