Tour Details

Pick up will be at the indicated time at the Hostal Amigo in Mexico City, followed by southbound travel to Iztaccíhuatl-Popocatépetl National Park. A stop will be made en route for food purchases.

Arrival at The Jewel in Paso de Cortés, connecting Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl volcanoes, marks the starting point for the ascent. The climb follows an intermediate difficulty route, suitable for both beginners and experienced climbers.

During the climb, you will enjoy views of the Mexico Valley and surrounding towns. Depending on your physical fitness, you can choose your climbing destination: the first mirador is at 3,800 metres above sea level, and the second at 4,300 metres.

A highlight of the trip is the chance to admire Popocatépetl, Mexico's second tallest volcano, known for the distinctive formations from its ongoing volcanic activity.

A lunch break will be offered for individual dining, concluding the activity with a return to the meeting point in Mexico City after 11 hours.
