We'll meet at 10 am at the entrance of The Guardian Building. This 40-storey skyscraper is one of the tallest sites in Detroit. Inside, also referred to as 'Detroit's Cathedral of Finance', you'll see its art deco design and architectural innovations.
Next, we'll continue to Hart Plaza, named after US Senator Phillip Hart, in downtown Detroit. Here, we'll learn about various monuments and the city's history. This square was the original settlement that later became Detroit.
As we walk along Detroit's riverbank admiring its skyline, we'll reach Matius Park where we'll find urban art that fills the streets around the city.
After two and a half hours, the private tour will end at Matius Park.
