Belfast Day Trip from Dublin with Titanic Museum and Political Taxi Tour

08:00 AM: DEPART DUBLIN

The Belfast City Tour departs from the Molly Malone statue (outside the old stone church on Suffolk Street). Meet your charming and knowledgeable guide and your fellow travellers. We will head north past Croke Park Stadium, the Port Tunnel and Dublin Airport. Your guide will give you a fascinating overview of the history behind Northern Ireland, the conflict and its origins.

10:30 AM: TITANIC BELFAST

Titanic Belfast extends over nine interactive galleries, with multiple dimensions to the exhibition, drawing together special effects, dark rides, full-scale reconstructions and innovative interactive features.

1:30 PM: POLITICAL TAXI TOUR

After a quick visit to the Republican museum a local guide will bring small groups on a political taxi tour of West Belfast. Learn of how the Peace Wall came into existence. This 5.5 metre high wall divides the Loyalist community from the Republican community. Your guide will have first-hand information on the Troubles, and the history of this infamous area

3:00 PM: FREE TIME IN BELFAST

We will have some free time in the city centre. Take some time to explore Belfast in the many pubs and restaurants. Here are a few suggestions to do during this time:

Fancy a pint? Then drop into one of the city's oldest and most interesting bars - the Crown Liquor Saloon. Visit Saint Anne's cathedral, also known as Belfast Cathedral. See Belfast’s own leaning tower at Albert's Memorial Clock. Drop into one of Belfast's main landmarks at the Belfast City Hall.

7:30 PM: ARRIVE BACK IN DUBLIN
