Just 40 minutes from Kuala Lumpur, this Batu Caves day trip highlights some of the most notable sanctuaries in Malaysia.

Batu Caves Day Trip

The trip commences with a hotel pickup in Kuala Lumpur at the scheduled time, proceeding first to a pewter workshop. This visit allows you to observe the crafting of pewter products, including the largest pewter beer jug in the world.

Next, the tour continues to a local Batik fabric factory, showcasing one of the thriving craft industries in the region.

The final destination is the Batu Caves, where we will spend one hour. Visitors will find a series of grottoes and caverns atop a sacred hill, making it the most famous Hindu sanctuary in Asia outside of India. To access the caves, a climb of 272 steps is required, rewarded by stunning sculptures of Hindu deities.

After exploring the caves, we will learn about the impressive 42-meter high Murugan statue, which tells a remarkable story of its construction on challenging terrain.

The guided tour concludes with a return to your hotel in Kuala Lumpur, completing this 3.5-hour day trip.
