You will experience an era long gone but has an important place in the glorious history of Malaysia which portray the strong Dutch, British and Portuguese influence in the country.

The city and state of Malacca are considered the polar opposite of the effervescent city of Kuala Lumpur. Touted as the “Historical State” of Malaysia, Malacca is the site of the earliest Malaysian sultanates.

It names a “World Heritage Site” back in 2008 which has contributed to the tremendous popularity of this charming destination.

Then you will head to Dutch Square where the majestic salmon pink town hall is located. The hall used to serve as the Dutch governor’s residence. Today, Stadhuys hosts a museum showcasing a wide variety of Malaccan artefacts.

At the end of the tour, you will get the chance to admire the surviving gate of the Portuguese fortress, A Famosa. One of the oldest European structures built in Southeast Asia dates back to the year 1511.

Our guided walk through the historic centre of Melaka allows visitors to learn first-hand about the Portuguese and Dutch influences on Malacca’s historical structures, like the Porta de Santiago and the Stadhuys.

Visit in-demand tourist attractions such as the Cheng Hoon Teng Taoist temple, the oldest functioning temple in Malaysia and the quirky Jonker Street, known mostly for its antiques the town is bustling with unique shops that sell local souvenirs and delicacies. You will also enjoy the Trishaw Ride and Malacca River Cruise at the end of the tour.
